Which category fits your trip
A great deal of what leaves Boca is regional: the Bahamas, Key West, Naples, Tampa, Atlanta, and the run up the eastern seaboard to New York and Boston. A light or midsize jet covers those comfortably, and that is usually where we start.
Range starts to matter on West Coast and transatlantic trips, and cabin size starts to matter once you are more than a couple of hours in the air. Above nineteen passengers the trip moves into regional airliner or airliner-size aircraft, which would operate under FAR Part 121 or foreign equivalent standards rather than FAR Part 135.
Runway matters at the Boca end. Boca Raton Airport has a single 6,276-foot runway. The required runway for any particular trip is a performance calculation the operator makes for that aircraft, at that weight, in the conditions on your date, so we confirm it with the operator for your specific trip rather than working from a general figure.
