When VIP Airliners Fit the Boca Raton Trip

When your total passenger count outgrows a heavy jet and the group consists of more than nineteen passengers, the aircraft required would fall into regional airliner, or airliner-size. These trips would no longer fall under the FAR Part 135 standards but possibly operate under FAR Part 121 or foreign equivalent standards. Part 121 and equivalent generally carry stricter crew and operating requirements than FAR Part 91 and FAR Part 135. Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International and Miami-Opa Locka Executive are the South Florida fields with the ground handling for them.

The runway required on the day is a performance calculation the operator makes for that aircraft, at that weight, in the conditions on your date, so we confirm it with them for your specific trip rather than working from a general figure.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Boca Raton Patterns We Plan Around

Two things shape a trip here more than the aircraft does. Hurricane season runs June through November, with the peak in September, and summer afternoons bring thunderstorms that build quickly and close airspace while they pass. Your advisor watches the forecast ahead of your date and will call you before you call us.

The other is customs. Boca Raton Airport clears Thursday through Monday, 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and clearing outside those hours has to be requested while the facility is open, so a midweek evening arrival from abroad needs setting up days ahead. Fort Lauderdale Executive (KFXE) clears from eight in the morning until just before midnight, and Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International (KFLL) clears around the clock.

Airport choice matters more here than in most markets. Boca Raton Airport (KBCT) is the default, with a tower open from seven in the morning until eleven at night and a voluntary curfew between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. President Donald J.
