When Entry-Level Jets Fit the Boca Raton Trip

Boca Raton to Key West, Naples, Tampa, Orlando and Nassau all sit comfortably inside the range. Beyond that the category starts to need a fuel stop, and a light jet usually becomes the better answer.

Boca Raton Patterns We Plan Around

Two things shape a trip here more than the aircraft does. Hurricane season runs June through November, with the peak in September, and summer afternoons bring thunderstorms that build quickly and close airspace while they pass. Your advisor watches the forecast ahead of your date and will call you before you call us.

The other is customs. Boca Raton Airport clears Thursday through Monday, 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and clearing outside those hours has to be requested while the facility is open, so a midweek evening arrival from abroad needs setting up days ahead. Fort Lauderdale Executive (KFXE) clears from eight in the morning until just before midnight, and Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International (KFLL) clears around the clock.

Airport choice matters more here than in most markets. Boca Raton Airport (KBCT) is the default, with a tower open from seven in the morning until eleven at night and a voluntary curfew between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. President Donald J.
