Weddings, Honeymoons & Anniversaries

Boca Jet Charter arranges private flights for weddings, honeymoons and anniversaries from Boca Raton and across South Florida. A wedding is one date that cannot move, which changes how the flying gets planned.

Getting the party there

Guests arriving from several directions on the same afternoon is the usual shape of it. Where enough of them are coming from one city, a single aircraft is often better than everyone booking separately, and we can hold seats while the numbers firm up. Tell us the earliest anyone can leave and the latest anyone can arrive, and we will work from there.

For the couple, a late departure after a reception is entirely arrangeable, though at Boca Raton Airport it is worth knowing that operators are asked to observe a voluntary curfew between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. It is voluntary and it does not block a departure. Say so early and your advisor will talk you through the options, including the nearby airports that run later.

Honeymoons

A great deal of what leaves this coast on a honeymoon goes a short distance: the Bahamas, the Keys, the Caribbean. Those are short flights, which means the aircraft that suits them is often smaller and less expensive than people expect.

If you are heading further, the aircraft changes but the planning does not. Many international destinations require special permissions for landing and customs. Permits are generally applied for after a trip has been secured on the aircraft schedule, and sometimes the timeline is dictated by the local airport authorities.

Coming back, customs at Boca Raton runs Thursday through Monday, 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and clearing outside those hours has to be requested while the facility is open. Tell us your return date when you book the outbound, not after.

Dresses, cakes and everything else

Anything long, rigid or fragile needs its dimensions known in advance, because baggage compartments vary a lot between aircraft. A dress travels best hanging. Tell us what is coming and we will size the aircraft to it.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.

Boca Raton-Specific Patterns We Plan Around

Hurricane season runs June through November and peaks in September, and summer afternoons bring thunderstorms that build quickly and close airspace while they pass. Your advisor watches the forecast ahead of your date and will call you before you call us.
