Boca Jet Charter arranges private flights for fashion week and industry events from Boca Raton and across South Florida, for designers, buyers, editors, models and the people moving a collection.
Miami has its own place on that calendar, and the swim and resort shows bring the industry to this coast every year. Beyond it, New York, London, Milan and Paris run in sequence over a few weeks, and the people who attend all of them work to a schedule that leaves very little slack between cities.
Moving a collection
Garments are the part worth planning around. They travel best hanging and they do not respond well to being folded into a small baggage compartment, so cabin space and compartment dimensions matter as much as seat count. Tell us what is coming with you and we will size the aircraft to it.
Where a collection or production equipment moves separately from the team, air cargo charter puts a full aircraft at your disposal for the shipment.
When the schedule moves
Show times move, castings get added, and a fitting overruns. Where an aircraft is available, a leg can often be confirmed within a few hours. Tell your advisor the fixed points in your week and we will work the flying around them.
International legs
For the European shows, permits are generally applied for after a trip has been secured on the aircraft schedule, and operators must meet the equivalent safety standards of the country of operation.
Coming back, customs hours decide where you can land. Boca Raton clears Thursday through Monday, 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with after-hours clearance requested during those same hours. Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International clears around the clock.
Passenger names and itineraries stay confidential.
Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
Boca Raton-Specific Patterns We Plan Around
Hurricane season runs June through November and peaks in September, and summer afternoons bring thunderstorms that build quickly and close airspace while they pass. Your advisor watches the forecast ahead of your date and will call you before you call us. Boca Raton Airport also asks operators to observe a voluntary curfew between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, which does not block a departure but is worth raising early if your trip lands in that window.
