Boca Jet Charter arranges private flights to casinos, racing and gaming events from Boca Raton and across South Florida. Some of it goes a short distance, and some of it crosses the country.
What is close to home
South Florida has its own gaming and racing calendar. Gulfstream Park runs the winter thoroughbred meet at Hallandale Beach, the casino resorts in Broward and Miami-Dade are within an hour of Boca, and the equestrian season in Wellington fills southern Palm Beach County from January into spring.
The trips that need an aircraft
Las Vegas is the run people charter for most, followed by the Gulf Coast, Atlantic City and the Caribbean resorts in Nassau and Paradise Island. A group filling the cabin usually works out better per head than the same group booking separately, because charter is priced by the aircraft rather than the seat.
For a big race meet or a fight weekend the local ramp fills up as fast as the hotels. When parking is tight, the airport and Air Traffic Control may require a slot, which is prior permission to arrive or depart in a specific window, and your advisor handles that request as part of the booking. Book early: while there may be ample aircraft availability, ramp space fills up much faster.
Coming back late
These trips finish late by nature. Boca Raton Airport asks operators to observe a voluntary curfew between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. It is voluntary and does not block an arrival, but say so early and your advisor will go through the options, including the airports nearby that run later.
If you are returning from the Bahamas or the Caribbean, customs hours decide where you can land. Boca Raton clears Thursday through Monday, 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International clears around the clock.
Discretion
Passenger names and itinerary details are confidential and shared only where a party needs them to run the flight.
Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
Boca Raton-Specific Patterns We Plan Around
Hurricane season runs June through November and peaks in September, and summer afternoons bring thunderstorms that build quickly and close airspace while they pass. Your advisor watches the forecast ahead of your date and will call you before you call us.
