Business Meetings

Boca Jet Charter arranges private flights for business meetings from Boca Raton and across South Florida. Most of this flying is bought to save a day rather than to save an hour.

The day trip

The pattern that comes up most is out and back inside a day: a morning departure, a meeting, and home for the evening, on a route that would take two days on scheduled flights. Because the aircraft goes when you go, the schedule is built around the meeting rather than the other way around.

South Florida has airports in every direction, so the departure field is chosen to suit where you are actually starting from rather than defaulting to the largest one. Boca Raton Airport (KBCT) covers the immediate area, with Fort Lauderdale Executive (KFXE), Miami-Opa Locka Executive (KOPF) and President Donald J. Trump International (KDJT) all in reach.

Working on board

A private cabin is a place a team can talk about a deal before it lands, and taking everyone together is the most crucial part of the trip. Wi-Fi, satellite phones and power are available on many aircraft by request, and additional charges may apply. Ask your advisor which of the options are offered or tell us what you need for your flight, because it varies by aircraft rather than by category.

Multi-city trips

Two or three cities in a day is normal work for a charter and difficult on scheduled flights. Give us the meeting times and we will build the ideal routing from there, including the ground time you actually need at each stop rather than the minimum.

When plans move

Meetings run long and get rescheduled. Tell your advisor as soon as you know; depending on the aircraft and the operator there is usually room to move a departure, and it is a great deal easier before the crew is on duty than after.

Who is operating the flight

Every flight is operated by a certified air carrier. We confirm operator certification, review the operator’s safety and incident history, and confirm the pilots are experienced and current on the aircraft type before we present it. The detail is on our safety page.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.

Boca Raton-Specific Patterns We Plan Around

Hurricane season runs June through November and peaks in September, and summer afternoons bring thunderstorms that build quickly and close airspace while they pass. Your advisor watches the forecast ahead of your date and will call you before you call us. Boca Raton Airport also asks operators to observe a voluntary curfew between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, which does not block a departure but is worth raising early if your trip lands in that window.
