Boca Jet Charter arranges private flights for bachelor and bachelorette trips from Boca Raton and across South Florida. Most of these are short, the group is a known size, and the whole thing depends on everyone being on the same aircraft.
Where these trips go
From this coast the short hops do most of the work: the Bahamas, Key West, the Keys generally, and the Caribbean. Nashville, New Orleans, Las Vegas and Cabo come up regularly for the longer ones. Because a charter goes when you go, you can avoid spending most of the day waiting for connecting flights and get the party started earlier!.
Group size and cost
Charter is priced by the aircraft, not the seat, so the cost per person falls as the group fills the cabin. Give us your realistic number rather than your optimistic one, because the aircraft is sized to the head count at the quote stage, and a late addition can cause you to need to upgrade to another aircraft.
If people are coming in from different cities to join the trip, tell us. Sometimes it is better to gather everyone at one airport first, and sometimes it is not.
Bags and what is coming with you
Golf clubs, dive gear, boards and anything else long or rigid all have to fit a specific baggage compartment with a specific weight limit. Soft bags pack better than hard cases. Tell us the total weight and the largest single item when you book so we can size the aircraft to it rather than finding out on the ramp.
Getting home
The return is the leg worth thinking about. If you are coming back from abroad, customs hours decide where you can land. Boca Raton clears Thursday through Monday, 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and after-hours clearance has to be requested while the facility is open. Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International clears around the clock, which is often the simpler answer for a Sunday night return.
Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
Boca Raton-Specific Patterns We Plan Around
Hurricane season runs June through November and peaks in September, and summer afternoons bring thunderstorms that build quickly and close airspace while they pass. Your advisor watches the forecast ahead of your date and will call you before you call us. Boca Raton Airport also asks operators to observe a voluntary curfew between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, which does not block a departure but is worth raising early if your trip lands in that window.
