Corporate Flight Department Back-up

Boca Jet Charter arranges supplemental lift for corporate flight departments and aircraft owners in Boca Raton and across South Florida. When the aircraft you normally fly is not available, the trip still has to happen.

When departments call us

Three situations come up most. The aircraft is down and the trip is tomorrow. Two trips have landed on the same day and there is one aircraft. Or the trip needs more range or more cabin space than the aircraft on hand can accommodate, and repositioning for a fuel stop would cost more time than it saves.

Depending on routing and availability, a replacement can often come together in a matter of hours. It is worth having the conversation before you need it, so we already know your standards, your usual routes and who signs off.

Fractional and jet card owners

Owners on a fractional or card program use charter to spend their program hours where those hours go further. A short regional leg that would burn a disproportionate share of the allocation is often better bought as a one-off charter, keeping the program for the longer trips it suits.

Our standards, alongside yours

Flight departments tend to have their own operator criteria, and we work to them. Ours run alongside: we confirm operator certification, review the operator’s safety and incident history, and confirm pilot experience and currency on the specific aircraft type. Where an operator participates in a Wyvern or ARGUS program, we reference those audits as part of the review.

For departures, Boca Raton Airport (KBCT) covers the immediate area, with Fort Lauderdale Executive (KFXE), Miami-Opa Locka Executive (KOPF) and President Donald J. Trump International (KDJT) all within reach depending on where the aircraft and the passengers are.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.

Boca Raton-Specific Patterns We Plan Around

Hurricane season runs June through November and peaks in September, and summer afternoons bring thunderstorms that build quickly and close airspace while they pass. Your advisor watches the forecast ahead of your date and will call you before you call us. Boca Raton Airport also asks operators to observe a voluntary curfew between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, which does not block a departure but is worth raising early if your trip lands in that window.
